Don Adams, 1st Vice President
Donald L. Adams and his wife Debra are
lifelong Republicans, have two adult children and seven grandchldren.
Don is
currently serving as the Club's 1st Vice President for Programs.
He holds a
bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Troy University and is a graduate of
the Air Force Command and Staff College, as well as the FBI National Academy and
numerous Air Force Management and Leadership academies.
Donalds served twenty
one years as a Security Policeman in the United States Air Force. Upon retiring
in 1995, he served as a Deputy Sheriff and Criminal Investigator with the
Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office before returnng to service with the Air Force
in Year 2000 as a Civilian Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special
Investigations.
Donald's Military and Civil Service decorations include:
Department of Defense Exemplary Civilian Service Award, Department of
Defense Meritorious Civilian Service Award, Air Force Meritorious Service Medal,
Army Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Department of
Defense Civilian Global War on Terrorism Campaign Medal.
In October
2010, he assumed duties as Undersheriff in Okaloosa County.
